But I've made it as far as NYC and I'm waiting for my next flight....
Being a Bostonian in my soul, I made peace with this layover in "enemy" territory... ( as in "go red sox!" etc) with with worlds largest Dunkin Donuts iced coffee ever...
Ahhh how I missed it. It's the first sign that I'm back on the East Coast... The second most wonderful ( would be the first if I had not been awake since 5 am yesterday and it's now 6am today, so amazing coffee won) It's raining!!!!!
Like real rain!! Not mist on dusty windows or oceany drizzle, no. Real, turn on your windshield wipers kinda rain with tyne promise of thunder and lightening at home....

I love it all. Airports, conversations with strangers, familiar coffee and waiting for the next moment....
Thank you all for letting me run and not judging me out load. I needed you and you were there. My real life friends don't even know I'm gone yet and the rest dont know I'm coming....
