Heavy Rain Likely Monday
We are certainly saying goodbye to the dry weather over the next 24 to 48 hours. A series of storm systems will impact the region bringing periods of heavy rains and even a few strong storms. The best chance for heavy rains will be late Monday morning into the early afternoon. Majority of the rain will fall on Monday, but we will keep a 30% chance for showers on Tuesday as we await another cool front passage. The front passes ending the rains with most people picking up an average of 1” with isolated spots picking up as much as 3”. Cooler and drier air will be behind the front making for a nice premature entrance to autumn.
