Fantastic Hump Day Weather
Today will be a day completely filled with sunshine. The bright sunshine will lead to a slightly warmer afternoon with highs in the low 70°s. A reinforcing shot of cooler air will occur later today. That means another chilly start Thursday with lows in the low 40°s and highs in the upper 60°s. A warming trend will occur as we move into the weekend. We'll stay dry for Friday night lights and both LSU and Southern games Saturday evening. Highs will be in the 80°s by Sunday. Our next cool front will arrive by the start of the next work week. Expect sct'd showers and t-storms Monday into Tuesday with cooler temperatures moving in by next Tuesday. - Jeff Morrow & Diane Deaton / WAFB Storm Team
