Cool Front Passes Overnight

A cool front will sweep through South Louisiana early Monday morning. We might see an iso’d shower or two before the front passes, but most will stay dry. Drier, less humid air will begin to work into the region Monday afternoon. Highs will still be in the mid 80°s but it will feel more comfortable. Tuesday and Wednesday will see morning lows dip into the mid 50°s. A stronger cool front is then forecasted to move through on Thursday. Sct’d showers and t-storms will be possible as the front moves through. Temperatures will see a decent dip thanks to cooler Canadian air behind this frontal boundary. Lows may even reach the upper 40°s early Saturday. -- Jeff Morrow / WAFB Storm Team
