Early Showers ... Clearing, Sunshine Returns!
Monday morning's front moved south and over the coastal waters before mid-day, leaving us with a fine Monday afternoon with highs topping out in the low 80°s and a nice drop in the humidity. Lows will drop to the low to mid 50°s for most WAFB neighborhoods by Tuesday morning, with afternoon highs on Tuesday climbing to about 80° for the Capital City. But as the day progresses, you may notice a few more mid- and upper-level clouds as Pacific moisture -- much of it linked to the Pacific’s T.S. Paul -- streams in from the west. Our next front is currently scheduled to arrive early Thursday, but the preliminary signs suggest that Thursday's front will pass with little or no active or severe weather in the WAFB viewing area. -- Jay Grymes / WAFB Storm Team
