Picture Perfect for Valentine's Day!
Clouds were slow to clear on Wednesday, but we're expecting big improvements in our weather for Valentine's Day! The day gets off to a chilly start with temps in the upper 30°s, but highs will rebound into the mid 60°s under plenty of sunshine. If you have dinner plans on Thursday night, look for temps in the mid-upper 50°s shortly after sunset to fall into the upper 40°s by midnight. A few clouds return on Friday as a pair of quick-moving fronts slide through the area. We also can't rule out a spotty shower on Friday, but overall, rain chances look to be quite slim. Cooler weather settles in for Saturday, with highs only reaching the mid 50°s. Some areas will likely flirt with a light freeze on Sunday morning, but temps will once again quickly rebound after that. Look for good rain chances to enter the forecast late Monday into early Tuesday of next week. - Jay Grymes & Steve Caparotta / WAFB Storm Team
