Scattered Showers Hang Around Next Few Days
Rainfall has diminished in intensity as we've moved through the day, but we've seen some spots pick up more than 1" here in the metro area and more than 3" in Southwest Louisiana. We may pick up another 0.50" or so before the day is over as rains continue to push to the SE. Wednesday and Thursday won't be complete wash outs as we keep a few sct'd showers in the forecast. The weather will certainly be damp and dreary as clouds hang around and temperatures turn chilly. We finally see some sun on Friday, but temperatures will remain cool. An iso'd showers may be possible Saturday as a weak disturbance passes. The remainder of the week and start of next week should be mainly dry with warming temperatures. - Jeff Morrow, WAFB Storm Team
