Cold Temperatures and More Rain in the Forecast
A cold front as advanced through the area ushering in some chilly temperatures. Rains are also ongoing and should continue that way into Monday. Rain will stay likely Monday and Tuesday with an additional 1-2” possible. A Flash Flood Watch will likely be extended through a portion of the work week as a result of these new rainfall projections. We might even be dealing with sct’d showers for Wednesday and parts of Thursday now as the storm system slowly exits the region. Temperatures will stay rather chilly thanks to all the rain and cloud cover. Don’t expect temperatures much higher than the 40°s over the next several days. Finally by Friday things will begin to dry out and warm up. We are actually expecting a fairly nice weekend ahead.
