Cold Start to Monday
Skies have been slow to clear after Sunday morning’s rains, but we’ll see clear skies overnight leading to a cold morning start to Monday. Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 30°s so bundle up the kids as they head back to school. Monday will see plenty of sunshine leading to a very nice afternoon with highs in the low 60°s. A warm front will push into South Louisiana late Tuesday leading to a few sct’d showers and t-storms. Higher rain chances will exist Wednesday and Thursday as a storm system develops and moves overhead. We won’t see completely dry weather to end the week as a weak cold front will stall across the area Friday and Saturday; that will lead to iso’d showers being left in the forecast and mild temperatures hanging around.
