Windy & Warm on Tuesday!
Strong southerly winds in advance of a cold front will push our high temperatures to near-record levels on Tuesday. We're forecasting a high of 80° for Baton Rouge and the record currently stands at 81°. Isolated showers and t-storms will also be possible from the afternoon into the evening. Showers and t-storms become likely overnight into the early morning hours of Wednesday as the front pushes through. A few storms could be strong to severe, with the primary concern being damaging winds, although isolated tornadoes can't be ruled out.
