Rains Finally Diminishing on Wednesday

We can finally see a 'light at the end of the tunnel', with rains diminishing over the next 24 hours. We still expect scattered showers overnight into Wednesday morning, but rains should come to an end for most of us by Wednesday afternoon/evening. It will be yet another chilly day though, with highs only reaching the mid 40°s for most...although it will be a bit warmer south of Baton Rouge. Sunshine finally returns by Thursday and should stay with us into the weekend! Look for cold morning starts, but afternoon temps will gradually climb into the lower 60°s by Saturday and Sunday. Our next cold front arrives early next week with a slight chance of showers. - Jay Grymes & Steve Caparotta / WAFB Storm Team
