More Disagreeable January Weather!
Well, at least we got a little break (for part of the weekend), from all the wet weather of the past several days! It was also very windy and unseasonably warm Saturday and Sunday - with afternoon highs pushing into the mid/upper 70s. However, once this latest front moved through, temperatures dropped dramatically Sunday afternoon and scattered moderate/heavy rain returned across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. And, since it appears the aforementioned front is stalling along our coastal waters, even "more" wet weather is in the forecast tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday! Plus, we'll be significantly colder, too - highs only in the upper 40s/lower 50s - overnight lows dropping into the mid/upper 30s much of this week! - Diane Deaton, WAFB Storm Team
